Using method of organic bentonite

1.When use surfactant for dispersing pigments and fillers,and grinding process can be accepted,the process can be used as follows:

●A.The organc bentonite is added directly to the resin/solvent, blend and thoroughly mix for 10 minutes.

●B.Add polar activator(if allowed)and mix for 10 minutes.

●C.Add surfactant(e.g. lecithins and soap drier)and mix for a few minutes.

●D.Add the pigment and fillers and disperse with high shear for a minute to the right fineness.

●E.Complete dilution

2.If surfactant is not accepted,the activator should be added 10mins after the adding of pigment and fillers for better dispersion.

3.For poor wetting epoxy resin,polyester,short oil alkyd resin and acrylic resin,and also surfactant can be used and grinding process can be accepted, the steps as below:

●A.Input the solvent.

●B.Add organic bentonite stir to make it fully mixed and dispersed.

●C.Add polar activator,let it be fully dispersed and swelled..

●D.Add resin,stir and mix fully.

●E.Add the surfactant,fully dispersed.

●F.Add the pigments and fillers,disperse with high shear for a few minutes to the right fineness.

●G.Dilute to the target viscosity.
